Massage Therapy tailored to meet your needs

Your life doesn’t fit a template—your massage shouldn’t either. In my treatment room, we slow things down, listen to your body, and choose the right techniques for you that day. The goal: more comfort, better movement, and a calmer mind.
  • Customized to your goals (relaxation, pain relief, recovery, prenatal support)
  • Adaptive positioning for non-standard needs
  • Clear consent and communication at every step
  • A touch of humor and zero judgment

My Massage Specialties

Deep Tissue Massage

Lomi Lomi Massage

Cupping Massage

For stubborn tension and chronic tightness. Slower, focused work helps release adhesions and improves mobility so you can get back to what you love with less “ow.”

A flowing Hawaiian style using long, rhythmic strokes to soothe the nervous system and soften the whole body. It’s grounding, nurturing, and deeply restorative.

Targeted, goal-oriented bodywork with cupping to release tension and support recovery. Helpful when muscles feel tight, circulation is sluggish, or tissues need extra attention.

Prenatal Massage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Swedish Massage

Safe, supportive care during every trimester, with specialized training (Kate Jordan) and positioning options to keep you comfortable while easing common pregnancy aches.

Gentle, precise techniques to encourage lymph flow, reduce swelling, and support your body’s natural detox processes. Great for post-illness, surgery support (as appropriate), or when you just feel puffy.

The classic for good reason. Smooth, relaxing strokes help reduce stress, improve circulation, and reset your nervous system. Perfect if you want to unwind without deep pressure.

We talk. You share what’s going on—pain points, preferences, boundaries, goals.

We plan. I explain options and get your consent for the approach we’ll use.

We work. Treatment adapts as your body responds—more of what helps, none of what doesn’t.

We debrief. You’ll get simple aftercare tips so results last beyond the table.

What to Expect

Safety, Consent, and Your Comfort Come First

Massage is an intimate experience. I’m clear about draping, techniques, and pressure before anything happens. You can ask questions, pause, or change direction at any time—no explanations required. Your body, your boundaries, your session.

Always learning: Twenty-plus years experience with ongoing education and evidence-informed care.

Adaptable by design: Positioning modifications, tool-free options, and creative problem-solving.

Whole-person approach: I consider the body, nervous system, and life context.

Personal, not franchise: One therapist focused on you, not a script.

Why People Choose Breathe Deep Bodywork

I’m a certified and licensed  massage therapist with training from Northwestern Health Sciences University (2003) and continuing education in prenatal (Kate Jordan), hospital-based massage, hand/foot therapies, Lomi Lomi, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Klose). I’m CPR/AED certified.

I’m a classic introvert who thrives in one-on-one work. I listen closely, keep things honest, and if I don’t know something, I’ll research it. Expect calm, clarity, and the occasional nerdy body fact. Also, I stop for turtles.
