How I Work

You first.

We plan together

Real time adjustments

We talk through your goals, preferences, and boundaries.

I explain options; you choose what feels right.

More of what helps, none of what doesn’t.

Aftercare that’s doable.

Simple tips to extend your results.

Deep Tissue Massage

Stubborn tension, meet focused, slower work. Deep tissue helps release adhesions, improve mobility, and ease those “always tight” spots (hello, neck/shoulders and low back).

Best for: chronic tightness, desk-related pain, post-training soreness

What you can expect: firm, deliberate pressure, targeted work, steady breathing to help your nervous system relax

Results people notice: easier movement, less “pinchy” pain, fewer tension headaches

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Gentle, precise techniques encourage lymph flow to reduce swelling and support your body’s natural detox processes. It’s subtle work with powerful benefits.

Best for: General puffiness/swelling, post-illness sluggishness, gentle immune support, stress calming; post-surgical support when cleared by your provider.

What you can expect: Very light, rhythmic strokes along lymph pathways, slow pace, no deep pressure; deeply relaxing despite the subtle touch.

Results people notice: Reduced swelling, “de-puffed” look/feel, lighter limbs, easier sinus drainage, a calm, rested state. Note: Not a medical treatment—when in doubt, ask your provider.

Best for: Low-back and hip pain, sciatic discomfort, swelling, rib tightness, stress and sleep struggles during pregnancy.

What you can expect: Specialized side-lying/supported positioning, gentle–moderate pressure, focused work in safe areas, clear consent and comfort checks.

Results people notice: Eased aches, better sleep, less swelling, deeper breath, feeling supported and comfortable in your changing body.

The classic reset. Smooth, relaxing strokes calm the nervous system, ease overall tension, and help you feel like yourself again—without deep pressure.

Best for: First-timers, high stress, sleep troubles, sensitive nervous systems, full-body reset without deep pressure.

What you can expect: Smooth gliding strokes and gentle kneading with a steady, relaxing flow; pressure customized to your comfort.

Results people notice: Lower overall tension, improved circulation, softer shoulders/jaw, better sleep, an “I can exhale again” feeling.

Lomi Lomi Massage

Flowing, rhythmic strokes invite your whole body—and nervous system—to soften. Lomi Lomi feels grounding, nurturing, and deeply restorative, especially when life is a lot.

Best for: Stress overload, nervous system reset, whole-body tension, grief/emotional heaviness, wanting deeply nurturing care.

What you can expect: Long, rhythmic, wave-like strokes with an unhurried flow, supportive draping, minimal transitions, quiet space to truly settle.

Results people notice: Profound relaxation, softer muscles, calmer mind, better sleep, a grounded “held” feeling.

Cupping Massage

Targeted, goal-oriented bodywork with cupping to release tension and support recovery. Helpful when muscles feel tight, circulation is sluggish, or tissues need extra attention.

Best for: Chronic tension, repetitive-use soreness, mobility restrictions, stubborn knots, or anyone curious about the benefits of cupping therapy.

What you can expect: A customized blend of massage and silicone or glass cups used with gentle suction and movement. Cups help lift and decompress tissues, improve circulation, and release restrictions.

Results people notice: Relief from deep-seated tension, improved range of motion, better circulation, reduced soreness, and a lighter, more open feeling in the body.

Consent, Comfort, and Clear Communication

Massage is intimate—but should never be sexual. I’m transparent about draping, techniques, and pressure before anything happens. You can pause, change direction, or say “no thanks” at any time.

Your body. Your boundaries. Your session.

If you’re not sure, think about your main goal—relaxation, pain relief, recovery, or pregnancy support. From there, I’ll help guide you toward the style that fits best, and we can blend techniques if your needs shift.

How do I know which massage style is right for me?

Just wear something comfortable to arrive in. You’ll be draped appropriately during your massage, and I’ll explain positioning before we start. You don’t need to bring anything except yourself.

What should I wear or bring to my session?

A 60-minute session works well for overall care or focused work on a couple areas. For full-body sessions, deeper work, or when you know you’ll need extra attention, 90 minutes is ideal.

How long should I book for?

That depends on your body, lifestyle, and goals. Some clients come monthly for maintenance, while others schedule weekly or seasonally around stress, training, or recovery needs. We’ll figure out a rhythm that makes sense for you.

How often should I get massage therapy?

Yes— I ask for your confirmation on the oils before any use. Depending on your goals, I may also incorporate tools like cups if you’re open to it, and I’ll always ask before adding anything new.

Do you use oils, lotions, or tools during a session?
