Rita took the time to really listen to me and made sure the massage was tailored to my body and my needs. I left feeling deeply relaxed and cared for. She has such a thoughtful way of combining skill with genuine attentiveness—I felt safe, supported, and lighter walking out. Highly recommend if you’re looking for more than just a massage, but a true healing experience.
My session at Breathe Deep Bodywork was exactly what I needed
Thank you for contacting us. We will be in touch with you within the next 48 hours.
What I’m known for: “killer relaxation” massage, supportive prenatal care, gentle but effective lymphatic drainage, and thoughtful modifications when the “standard” setup doesn’t work for you.
I’m Rita, a consent-first massage therapist in Maple Grove. I blend training (NWHSU, Kate Jordan prenatal, Klose MLD) with practical know-how, intuition, and clear communication. My work is adaptive by design—made for real bodies, real lives, and nervous systems that need a break. You’ll always know what I’m doing and why, and you can change direction at any time.
Start with your main goal—relaxation, pain relief, recovery, prenatal support, or lymphatic drainage. We can blend techniques in session. If you’re unsure, book Swedish or Deep Tissue and we’ll tailor it during your session!
Come as you are. I’ll explain draping and positioning before anything happens. A quick rinse and avoiding heavy fragrances are appreciated.
Nope. Results don’t require pain. Pressure is always within your comfort, and we’ll adjust in real time.
Yes—when performed by a trained therapist with appropriate positioning. I’ve completed Kate Jordan’s Bodywork for the Childbearing Year and have specialized bolstering to keep you comfortable at every stage.
MLD is feather-light, rhythmic work that encourages natural lymph flow. It can ease puffiness and support a calm nervous system. It’s supportive bodywork—not medical advice or treatment. If you’re post-surgery or have medical concerns, please check with your provider first.
Life happens. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice so I can offer the time to someone else. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee.
I don’t bill insurance. Many clients use HSA/FSA cards—check your plan details.
I’m in Maple Grove with easy, nearby parking. You’ll get address and arrival details in your confirmation email.
Gratuity is never expected but is accepted. If you feel compelled, a review or referral is just as meaningful.
